The previous issue with making payments via Credit Card has now been resolved.

8:15pm: Credit card payments problem

Our payment providers are experiencing technical difficulties which are causing some credit card transactions to fail. We are currently working with them to resolve this issue.

10:40am: Technical problems this morning

We experienced some technical problems this morning which affected Trade Me’s availability between 10:00am and 10:40am. All auctions due to close between 10:00am and 11:30am were extended by 90 minutes.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused our members.

Scheduled maintenance

Trade Me will be unavailable on Saturday 28 February between 2am and 5am for scheduled maintenance and upgrades. All auctions that are due to close between 2am and 6am will be extended by four hours. Saved search emails and category subscriptions will also be delayed.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Fee changes in Property and Motors

Effective 6 March, the fee to list a residential property for rent will increase from $69 to $99. There are no success fees in this category and you can relist for free until rented.

The fee to list an item in Car parts wanted will drop from $2.95 to 95c.
