Credit card payments - update

We experienced some intermittent problems with our credit card payment gateway between Friday the 26th of August and Monday 29th of August. The problems have now been resolved.

If your payment was declined please try again now. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused.

Internet problems

Our ISP had some technical issues between approximately 2:15 pm and 4:45 pm this afternoon. Some users may have experienced intermittent problems reaching Trade Me during this period.

We apologise for any inconvenience, and we will do all we can to ensure the problems do not occur again.

Trade Me will never ask for your password in an email and will always use your first name to address you.

We have received a number of complaints about fraudulent "phishing" emails. Some of these emails are titled "Your Trade Me Bid was Cancelled !!!". Do not click on the link in this email.
