Scott Maud

I'm a Kiwi, born in Auckland, and have worked across a range of industries in NZ and the UK.

I'm a Chartered Accountant with 20 years' experience across technology, FMCG and professional services. While in the UK I led Commercial Finance at Burton’s Biscuits – we made over a hundred thousand tonnes of biscuits every year across three biscuit factories and a chocolate refinery. Site visits were amazing!

Before joining Trade Me, I was the Group CFO of Xplor Technologies, a US-based SaaS & payments business serving the fitness, childcare and field services industries. I was at Xplor for seven years. When I started, the business was a New Zealand based company known as TSG. We grew internationally and now operate in 20 markets worldwide. This role took me back to London, which feels very much like a second home to me.

Outside of work, you’ll find me with my family (two kids plus Olive the dog) out on the water in the Hauraki Gulf or at the beach. My most recent Trade Me purchase was a surfing SUP that I’m looking forward to using up north over summer –- no doubt I’ll spend a lot of time in the water! Most Saturday mornings I’ll be on the sidelines supporting my kids' sports teams.
