Anders Skoe

I moved to New Zealand and joined Trade Me as CEO in 2019. I'm super motivated by Trade Me's potential, both in terms of the value we can create for Kiwi and Kiwi businesses, and the way we execute and operate as a business.

I love our vision that Trade Me is where Kiwi look first, and the ambition we have to empower Kiwi to search for better and create the lives they want.

Before I joined Trade Me, I was the CEO of Finn.no in Norway, which if you scan globally, is probably the company that most closely resembles Trade Me of any other business out there. A #1 horizontal classifieds player in a country with 5 million people, fjords and mountains, you say? Check, check, and check.

Prior to joining Finn.no in 2010, I spent 15 years in the USA, studying, working for a (flailing) startup and for Google.

On the weekend you'll find me courtside or poolside, cheering on one of my three sons at basketball, water polo or swimming. You'd probably see my wife (Susan, a native Californian) right there next to me screaming even louder (encouragement of course!). I have a tendency to take up a new gardening hobby every year or so like growing chillies.
