Alan Clark

I'm a former network engineer and have held senior roles at The Boston Consulting Group in New York, Australia and Aotearoa as well as in strategy and consumer marketing teams at Vodafone NZ (now One NZ).

In my role as Head of Property I work with a bunch of people across the business including sales, customer support, engineering, product, marketing and commercial. In a nutshell, we connect Kiwi with a place to live, a job, and a way to get to and from the things they want to do.

It's an exciting time for Trade Me, with so many challenges and opportunities. We offer heaps to New Zealanders but we've got some pretty strong competition out there so we're continually looking to up our game. It's the challenges that really get me up in the morning and the chance to work with so many smart and energetic people.

Outside of work, I've got a wonderful wife, two lovely daughters, a cat and a dog so I'm pretty busy doing what they ask me to do. When I want some 'me' time I go for a long run, hike (preferably in Te Waipounamu – the South Island), or head up a ski field.
