Pickups are available from our store, payment can be made by cash, credit card or eftpos at our store. For pickups from our store - please contact us to prearrange a suitable pick up time.

Lay-by Payment:

We accept Lay-by with a deposit, if you wish to utilize our lay-by option, please phone us to discuss our payment terms and conditions.

All prices are GST inclusive and GST invoices are available on request.

We offer a Free Freight Option with most of our products via Toll Parcels for North & South Islands, plus overnight freight options via selected couriers. Please refer to our shipping options within the listing and select whichever option you prefer. Small products will be dispatched the same day after payment confirmation, however larger products maybe dispatched the following day due to the packaging time. Tracking info will be sent once your purchase is collected by the courier. Order cut off for most of our products for same day dispatch is 3.00pm.

All our parts & products are well inspected on receipt and prior to packing for dispatch. We take great care with our packing to eliminate transit damage. Our parts rarely incur transit damage, but accidents can happen. Upon delivery please inspect the consignment before signing for the delivery. We cannot be responsible for transit damage. If visible damage has occurred to the consignment, ask the driver to write on the docket, damage subject to inspection, so the driver can input in their system, keep a copy of the docket. Please phone us immediately if there is transit damage so we can assist you with your claim and discuss sending a replacement part if required as soon as we can.

IPV stands behind all our products supplied and they carry 90 days warranty from the date of purchase.

Some products are not warranted unless proof of fitting from a qualified automotive technician is supplied. This will vary depending on the product purchased, if unsure please ask before placing your order.

Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Warranty does not cover damage from user abuse, accident, wear and tear, lack of scheduled maintenance or inappropriate or improper operation or installation, modification or alteration of product or any attempt to repair the product. Warranty does not cover products fitted to a vehicle that is operated at a racetrack, drag strip, club event, whether official or amateur event. Warranty does not cover labour or installation costs.

Warranty is not transferable and only applies to the original purchaser.

We recommend opening the consignment straight away upon receipt of your order to inspect the contents. For returns please refer to our returns section.

We are always here to help and if there is a problem with your purchase, we will always try our best to rectify the problem as quickly as we can. We have great after sales support, so you won’t be left in the lurch. Any faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are fully returnable. Where possible at our discretion a repair or replacement will be provided. If a repair or replacement product is not possible a refund will be given.

However, we do not accept returns simply because you have changed your mind or because the item was not what you thought it was or what you expected it to be. Please make sure the products are compatible and applicable for your vehicle prior to your purchase. Returns outside of faults, incorrectly supplied or warranty will incur a 15% restocking fee at our discretion.

Goods bought at a clearance price cannot be returned for credit.

Returned parts before they are returned must be pre-approved with us by phone call within 7 days of receipt of your consignment, the parts must be returned back to our store within 14 days of your purchase, they must be in a resalable, unused, undamaged condition, with the original packaging. All returns outside of faults, incorrectly supplied or warranty, the freight / tracking costs are to be met by the buyer.

We respect your privacy and confidentiality and any personal details you provide us are appropriately treated. We are aware of our obligations and the trust you place in us. Your details will never be provided to a third party.

Can I call and speak to someone?

Yes you can, please call 07 377 2081, 8.00am to 5pm Monday – Friday, if our lines are busy please leave your name & phone number and we will return your call asap.

General or technical query’s?

Please do not use our trademe listings to ask other general or technical questions that are not related to the product listed. You are better to send us an email us with your query, please include your phone number as it will be more productive for us to call you, likewise if you have a detailed technical query please email us a brief outline of your query along with your vehicle details, i.e. year, make, model, kms, manual or auto, sedan or ute, mods if any, we will call you as soon as we are available. However due to our busy schedule it may take us a couple of days to get back to you.

Is it really free shipping NZ wide?

Yes that option is available with most of our products where listed, with Toll Parcels only. However rural freight delivery charges do apply, please refer to our listing freight options.

How long does it take?

Typically items with Toll Parcels are delivered within 2 to 3 working days for North Island & 5 to 6 days for South Island, plus an extra day NI or SI if its rural delivery. We offer overnight freight options via selected couriers. Please refer to our shipping options within the listing and select whichever option you prefer.

Can you ship Overseas?

Yes we can ship to selected countries, please email or call us to discuss the options & costs.

Do you carry items in stock?

Yes we carry a comprehensive range of genuine OEM and aftermarket parts in our store - in some cases we might sell out and do not have a chance to withdraw the auction or replace parts and may need to get it in from our suppliers overnight. We will work with you to fulfil the order in the shortest timeframe possible. We do represent many overseas brands, these are shipped direct to us from their warehouses and transit times take time, if in doubt please contact us. We also can indent specific orders from overseas.

Is the listing for a set of brake rotors and pads?

We typically sell brake rotors in pairs and pads in sets to suit front or rear applications.

Are all your products new?

Yes all our products are new unless otherwise stated

Do you fit the parts?

Yes we do, please refer to our about us section for more detail, you are welcome to call us to discuss fitting, costs and schedule a booking.

We can refer you to various reputable service shops that can fit the parts locally if required. You will need to get in touch with us if this applies.

Do I need to have a mechanic fit the parts or can I fit them myself?

We do supply detailed fitting instructions for a selected range of our products. Ideally any repairs should be undertaken by a professional but depending on your budget this might not be possible. If you are attempting to fit your parts, you will need a good understanding about the application and how to carry the job out correctly. Some manufacturer warranties require professional fitting, please bare this in mind and contact us if you have a query about fitting.

Do your parts have warranties?

Yes all our parts have warranties, some vary but most carry a 90 day warranty. Please be assured we only sell quality brand parts the same as we fit in our IPV shop. Please see our warranty and returns sections for more information.

I’ve seen it cheaper overseas!

Be Careful!

Exchange rates, freight in that currency, NZ customs clearance fees, GST & credit card fees all add to the landed cost. However, there should be a few things you as the customer should know before you buy.

-Buying from an overseas supplier you are not protected by New Zealand Consumer Law- i.e. the Consumer Guarantees Act so if something goes wrong recourse might be difficult -International freight is expensive, if the part is wrong or faulty sending it back can end up costing too much and making it a sour trade. If you need to return the part and have paid local GST you are not able to claim it back.

We always recommend you buy locally so if any issues arise, they can be fixed quickly and cheaply. Support Local Business!!!
