MAKING A PURCHASE

Congratulations you have made a purchase with Auto Parts On Demand, great choice! Customers will then receive an automated Trade Me Payment Instruction email following each auction won. This will include everything you will need to know to complete your purchase smoothly and without delay. All prices are GST inclusive. A GST invoice is available on request and will arrive via mail or email if preferred.

MAKING A PAYMENT

Our preference is for you to make your payment using a Bank Deposit with your internet banking. We find this the easiest and safest way to process payments. Please use the Purchase Reference number as your banking reference so that the payment is easily recognised as yours.

We accept cash payments via:

Parts will be shipped to your door once full payment has been received including freight charges (unless by prior arrangement). The majority of our smaller items are shipped using overnight couriers where larger vehicle parts are shipped using the most suitable freight provider. These larger items can take longer to deliver. South Island delivery can be 3-4 days in some cases.

We are an online company therefore do not have a physical shop. It is because of this we do not allow the pickup of parts.

Upon delivery please open and inspect all parcels before signing for the courier delivery. Don’t let the courier driver rush you, this is important. We cannot be responsible for damage in transit so check the condition before signing. Once signed for you are agreeing that no damage has taken place and you are happy to accept your parcel. If damage has occurred do not sign for it and please let the driver know so they can make a note of it on their system. Let us know as soon as possible as well so we can make a claim for the damages and so that we can get a replacement part on its way to you as soon as we can. Our parts are rarely damaged but accidents do happen.

Any faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are fully returnable. Where possible a replacement will be provided. If a replacement is not possible a refund will be given.

We do not accept returns simply because you have changed your mind or because the item was not what you thought it was or what you expected it to be.

Please make sure the parts you have ordered are the correct parts for your vehicle before any painting or fitting. We cannot refund for parts which have been painted or modified in any way.

With any warranty or return situation we comply with all the relevant New Zealand Consumer laws.

The returned parts must be in a resalable, unused condition complete with original packaging and be undamaged.

All freight charges are to be met by the customer and are not refundable.

We are always here to help and if there is a problem with your purchase we always try our best to rectify the problem as best we can. We have great after sales support, so you won’t be left in the lurch.

At Auto Parts On Demand we stand behind all of our products. Our parts come with a 30 day warranty from the date of delivery. Some items are not warranted unless proof of fitting from a qualified automotive technician. This will vary depending on the product purchased, if unsure please ask before bidding.

Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Warranty does not cover damage from user abuse, accident, wear and tear, lack of maintenance, inappropriate or improper operation/installation, modification or alteration of product or any attempt to repair the product. Warranty does not cover labour costs. Warranty items are to be returned to us at your cost, this is non-refundable.

If a product is found to be faulty we must be immediately notified via email. We will repair, replace or refund the product at our discretion.
