Payment Instructions are automatically sent to all winning bidders after auctions closed and we ask that payment is made in full within 3 working days unless other arrangement has been made with us. If you don’t make payment within 1 week, we have right to cancel the order ,refund the success fee and sell the item to others. Please ensure that you offer the correct Trade me auction number or Trade me user name on all deposits to avoid confusion. It may take a couple of days for your payment to appear at our end if you don’t deposit via ASB.Payment without correct reference number will cause pending.

• Courier delivery is usually within 3 working days. Large fragile freight could take up to 5 working days. Rural delivery could take additional 2-3 working days. Getting things delivered on time is important to us, but we can’t guarantee delivery times as we use a third party shipping company. So we can’t be liable for any loss, cost or expense caused by delay in delivery.
• If the product is damaged in transit, please do not sign for the delivery and have the shipper return the goods to sender. We will arrange an alternative unit to be delivered when we are contacted by you . On signing for the delivery, you have accepted that the product is in good condition. If the product we sent out was damaged please do let us know strictly within 3 working days so we can have this rectified.

1. On arrival,please kindly inspect the parcels immediately for signs of damage. Please open the packaging, or use your hands to check if the metal parts/Wood board get any signs of damage under the wrapping. If you determine that any items are damaged or missing, you must reject the parcel. Any and all shortages and damages must be reported to us as soon as possible. Once you sign for the parcel you are agreeing that you have received the items in good condition. If you do not inspect before signing, for all practical purposes, waiving the right to collect on a damage claim even if the damage is discovered later (known as concealed damage). Please report any transit damage or faults by email within 3 working days of receiving the item. Star Trade reserves the right to refuse courier claims that are made after this time frame.
2. If you purchase products in advance of need, and has signed the parcel, and wait until it is to be installed to finally check the condition of the product (sometimes weeks or even months have passed); in these situations, it is your sole responsibility to cover the damage and lost.
3. Please choose carefully before your purchase is made because we do not refund if the buyer simply changes their mind.
4. Star Trade will replace or repair where possible and refunds will only be offered where a replacement is not available.
5. Contact must be made directly with Star Trade for approval prior to returning products under warranty, invoices or Trade Me auction reference will be required as proof of purchase. Photos or other forms of evidences may also be requested from the Buyer.
6. Exchange, repair or similar service required products must be returned with all accessories including their original packing materials, cartons and boxes.
7. Refunds will be processed via the method of payment, please be aware that bank clearance times vary and there may be some delay before funds appear in your account.

If listing does not contain any warranty information, we automatically provide a 90 days return to base warranty.

$1 reserve auctions are provided 30 days return to base warranty.

Warranty does not cover :

A. FREE BONUS items such as free batteries, free accessories

B. Incorrect assembly, misuse, abuse or use of a product for which it was not designed

C. Neglect and careless storage

D. Unauthorised repairs
