About the role:
As an EMS (Electronic Monitoring Service) Field Officer at FIRST Security, you will be responsible for ensuring electronic monitoring equipment is correctly installed and working properly on people in the Community serving a non-custodial sentence, you will attend to locations such as courts, prisons, and residential homes, as required to conduct these installs or call outs.
You will be our first point of contact for any equipment failure, alert activations and you will liaise with our field support team to ensure issues are attended to and fixed quickly.
About the role:
• Roster to provide plenty of balance - 4 nights on and 4 nights off.
• Only Work 6 Months of the year!!!
• Hours of work – rotating roster 1800 till 0600
• Provides plenty of Whanau time!
• Hourly rate $23.75ph
• Full and ongoing Training provided
• A supportive Team environment
You will be required to complete standard patrols when not on EMS call.
What we need you to have:
• ‘Can do’ attitude
• Excellent people and listening skills with the ability to build relationships
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet quickly in challenging environments
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle stress and pressure
• A current full NZ Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check
• A current Certificate of Approval (CoA) or the ability to obtain one
