About the role:
We currently have openings for casual Security Static Officers to join our team in Blenheim. The work hours for this position are based on an as-needed schedule, determined by the operational requirements of FIRST Security.
Job Requirements:
We have casual opportunities to join our Blenheim team where we need staff that are professional and able to meet the high service demands of our clients. Everyday can be different, with unique challenges supporting our clients across the region through communication and customer service. It’s all about people engagement - listening, explaining, and helping.
This isn’t just a normal Security Officer role. While we don’t need experience, we do need you to care, learn and share in an open inclusive environment, where everyone has an equal voice to help our continuous improvement to putting our people FIRST.

What we need you to have:
- Communication skills - both written and verbal - incident/shift reports/Radio comms
- Physical fitness – patrolling/static guarding
- Ability to work in a team - sense of humour and ability to get along with others
- Reliability – Ensure you are at work to support your team
- A current COA or the ability to obtain one
