We are in a stage of growth with lots of exciting opportunities, and as we develop and build our team, we have a need for a full-time assistant to our Senior Procurement Officer.
About the Role
You will actively assist in managing the company's purchasing activity in accordance with customer requirements whilst maintaining a focus on product quality and value. Along with the Procurement Officer you will be responsible for both the procurement process itself, and also the accuracy and thoroughness of all inventory database records and systems which support that process.

About the Role
You will actively assist in managing the company's purchasing activity in accordance with customer requirements whilst maintaining a focus on product quality and value. Along with the Procurement Officer you will be responsible for both the procurement process itself, and also the accuracy and thoroughness of all inventory database records and systems which support that process.
Who are we looking for?:
- We need a person who has solid purchasing experience which is backed by a strong knowledge of procurement best practices including all aspects of risk and compliance needs.
- You should have the ability to create and maintain accurate records and purchase orders that match customer needs, and ensure all order 'paperwork' is accurately processed and stored in a timely manner within company systems.
- You will need an ability to thoroughly research and evaluate supply and product options, then maintain positive supplier relationships.
- A working knowledge of the NetSuite ERP system would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
- We need a person who can liaise effectively with all other relevant parties to ensure best possible logistical outcomes - including internal and external warehouse and storage providers, as well as freight, transport, customs, and other suppliers.
- A person who will remain current with the business requirements by liaising with our Sales and Marketing teams in regard to current and upcoming sales, promotions, and marketing activity.
- We need a person who can assist with demand planning processes and reviews

- Be organised and methodical with keen attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated and independent.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate).
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Be flexible and agile in changing times.
