We are looking for an engaging social worker (or similar professionally registered health professional) to deliver one on one and group work for young people (13-24 years) with mild to moderate mental health issues in person and online. You will be working within the Manu Ka Rere collaborative with a supportive team around you.
In this role, you will be:
- Providing a mix of intervention models and assessments for youth
- Supporting youth online and in person
- Facilitating groups with young people
- Working 10am - 6.30pm some days to capture as many clients after school as possible
- Navigating a path to wellbeing for young people and their family.
- Liaising with link agencies and collaboration with Specialist Youth Services and Primary Care
- Updating notes and ensuring plans are in place.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A health professional registration
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good group facilitation skills
- Experience in building rapport with young people
- Organisation skills for managing a clinical workload
- Cultural awareness
