We are looking for an expereinced Aged Care Registered Nurse to join our encouraging & supportive team. You will assit in developing & leading the wider Healthcare team to provide high quality care to residents. This permanent full-time opportunity reports to a reliable and dedicated manager. Uou will can establish lasting relationships with our residents, families, and GPs to support our residents with everyday needs, from clinical care to end-of-life care.
Responsibilities
- Contributing actively to the wider development of best practice based nursing and caring practices.
- Constructive and open communication between management, doctors, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietician, pharmacist, podiatrist, chaplain, kitchen staff, household and administration.
- Use a multi-disciplinary approach according to accepted nursing practice and standards to lead and direct the team to ensure positive outcomes for the residents, and the facility
- For you and all other relevant staff, ensure comprehensive assessment of residents on admission, when health status changes, after an incident or accident and as part of any clinical review event.
- Understand the aged care environment, and quality management systems to meet the expectations and requirements of residents and families.

Skills & Experience
- We are looking for a Registered Nurse who holds a valid New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
- Previous experience in aged care.
- It would be ideal if you have received InterRAI training.
- You should have experience in clinical assessment and observational skills
- You will need to be able to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and their families.
