We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Room Leader to join our Toddler's team. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of four Kaiako in providing high-quality care and education to toddlers aged 2 to 3.5 years old. Your team comprises both qualified and in-training Kaiako, fostering a robust foundation for a comprehensive understanding of child development.

Successful candidates must have:

*Diploma or Bachelor of Teaching (ECE), Grad Diploma in ECE (Level 7)
*Provisional or full registration and current practising certificate
*Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and gets on with the job at hand
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
*Be honest, trustworthy and a genuine team player
*Be a good communicator (verbal & written)
*Ability to build respectful, responsive and supportive relationships with children, whanau and colleagues.
*Respectful and caring teaching philosophy
*Be experienced in programme planning and documenting and assessing children’s learning
*Sound knowledge of ECE regulations
*Commitment to upholding Te Whariki, Our Codes and Standards and the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
