ShieldIt Surface Protection is a team orientated business which operates within the construction industry. We have an opportunity for a Labour/Installer to join the team. Attitude is most important to us, we can provide you with full training.
We are based in Mt Roskill, however complete work throughout the Auckland region.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 6.30am till 4.30-5pm, and Saturday 7.30-8 until 2-3pm (40 hours per week minimum). Saturday work is not essential but availability to work this will be beneficial.

This is a busy role which will require work on variety of sites within a team. The purpose of your role is to:
- Ensure installation quality is consistent, installed to site specifications, within a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer services to our customers (Project Managers and Site Managers) through effective communication with Site Team Lead and Project Administrator as appropriate
- Demonstrate H&S leadership onsite
- Keep across all sites projected work requirements and communicate back to project coordinator to help ensure timely installation
- Keep an eye on stock levels in the Lockup to help ensure we always have the required product available for installation
You will need to have the following personal attributes:
- Be self-directed
- Communicate clearly
- Be reliable and responsible
- Ability to read and follow instructions is vital
- A full clean driver's license preferred
- Some experience on construction site would be helpful but not essential
- Be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Previously worked in construction either install or working as a General Labourer
- Understanding of importance of Health and Safety in construction
- Your own reliable transport to get to to/from Mt Roskill
