R400 Cat Back Exhaust with Ti Straight Cut Tips (WRX 22+)
Description
INVIDIA R400 CAT BACK EXHAUST
Invidia's most popular exhaust system.
Specifically designed to fill the sound gap between the Q300 and N1 system, the R400 produces a unique, agressive note while minimising harsh cabin noise (particularly at highway speeds). The R400 muffler was designed using years of experience from Invidia's engineers to allow the perfect balance between unrestricted exhaust gas flow and sound dampening. This exhaust system will provides a pronounced exhaust note throughout the entire RPM band even when only installed as a cat-back system. The R400 muffler design also looks great with a race inspired design that will turn heads.
The Invidia R400 Exhaust takes quality, performance and looks to a new level.
From start to finish the Invidia Exhaust Systems are designed with performance in mind with the exhaust route carefully selected to ensure minimal bends, allowing for an unobstructed exit of exhaust gases with minimal restrictions and turbulence. This will allow for improvements in both horsepower and torque, along with improvements in throttle response with a reduction in turbo lag for turbocharged vehicles. Additionally, you get the reward of an aggressive exhaust note.
INVIDIA PERFORMANCE
Far more engineering goes in to the design of an exhaust system than many realise. From a performance perspective, there is a fine balance between exhaust back pressure and exhaust gas velocity. Too large a diameter pipe, and low down power and torque is sacrificed (particularly on naturally aspirated cars), too small a diameter or added restrictions and bottle necks in the system, and the engine is unable to push gasses out of the combustion chamber efficiently, reducing power and torque. There are many other technical aspects such as "scavenging effect" which are beyond the scope of this document, but the point is, it's not as simple as just strap on a drain pipe and gains for days. A "quality" exhaust sys
