Search
Yep, you sure can. Trade Me Jobs Profiles recognises standard boolean syntax. If you need help with boolean searches, you can find handy tips by clicking the question icon next to the search box.
Yes, Trade Me Jobs Profiles searches all the information on a candidate’s Job Profile and CV.
The industry list is the same one candidates see when they’re searching on Trade Me Jobs or selecting their work preferences while creating a Job Profile. If you're searching for something more specific, try entering the role title in the main search box.
Location options are at a regional level right now. In the future we may look at adding more specific locations within those regions.
No, not right now. In the future we may look at adding multiple industry searching.
To find results for the entered search criteria, we search all available fields in Job Profiles, which includes personal summaries, work experience, preferences, skills. We also search within uploaded CVs.
The default sort order is 'Most relevant', and ranking is based on Job Profile relevancy to search term. You can change the sort order to be based on the date the candidates Job Profile was most recent.
This is not available at the moment, but we may look at adding this.
Job Profile
Candidates can create a Job Profile in a few ways:
- Manually entering the information.
- Providing their CV - we parse this information using third party software to create a Job Profile for them. The candidate is also asked to check their Job Profile is accurate.
- In some cases we create Job Profiles on behalf of candidates by parsing CVs they've previously provided us and by informing them that we've created a Job Profile for them.
Candidates can choose to set their Job Profile visibility to 'Limited profile'. If they do this, their work experience, preference, education and skills are visible, but you won't be able to see personally identifiable information or contact details for them.
Some candidates may not have uploaded a CV. Others may have set their Job Profile visibility to 'Limited profile' which means their CV isn’t available.
You can download a candidate's CV when they've made it available in their Job Profile. However, copying, scraping or downloading Job Profile information (including candidates contact details) is a breach of the Trade Me Jobs Profiles terms and conditions.
Candidates who have made their Job Profile fully visible will usually have their contact details included. 'Limited profiles' won't have contact details displayed and you won't be able to contact them unless they change their visibility settings.
This isn't available at the moment, but we may look at adding this.
