Lepidozamia peroffskyana is a cold, shade and drought tolerant species from New South Wales, Australia. They are mostly found in protected forests in shade and damp conditions. One feature that stands out is the lack of spines which is uncommon in most of the cycad family, making this beautiful plant very garden friendly. It has a rich tropical look, best in part shade but will also grow in full sun. Plant in well drained soil, in the garden or in a container. A must have for any beautiful garden and lovers of cycads.
