Super Feature
If you'd like to change which vehicles have a Super Feature applied to them or update your top picks, select ‘Manage Stock’ then select the ‘Trade Me Listing Promotion’ tab.
Descriptions
You can customise the description for your vehicles as much as you want. It’s where you can write the first sales pitch for the vehicle. There are only a few restrictions on what you can put into the description.
You can't include anything that breaches our Terms and Conditions in the description. Examples include:
1. Contact details such as phone numbers or emails.
2. Websites
3. Anything that shows that you're trying to opt-out of the Consumers Guarantee Act.
Please note: There is a 2,100 Character limit on descriptions.
Standard Vehicle Text
Standard Vehicle Text is a promotional tool that allows you to add pre-written text to all vehicle listings. Most Dealers use them to advertise their business rather than vehicles because one section of text is added to all the listings.
To find Standard Vehicle Text simply log into Dealerbase and go to the ‘My Company’ Tab. You should see under ‘Company Details’ the ‘ Edit Standard Vehicle Text’ tab.
Promotional Text
Promotional Text is a promotional tool that allows you to add pre-written text to your ‘About Us’ section in the Showroom.
To find Promotional Text simply log into Dealerbase and go to the ‘My Company’ Tab. You should see under ‘Company Details’ the ‘ Edit Promotional Text’ tab.
Advertising display List
Advertising display list can be used when you want to control if a vehicle is online or not. It's most useful for dealers who a.) Want to load up their stock in one go but wait until something is sold before they show another vehicle on Trade Me or b.) If a vehicle is on hold or about to be sold but the deal hasn’t gone through yet.
It can also help you regulate how many vehicles you have shown online so you don’t go over your limit.
To find it just log into Dealerbase and go to the ‘Manage Stock’ tab and under the ‘Advertising Banner’ to the ‘Advertising Display List’ tab.
The table will let you know if a vehicle is advertised on Trade Me and how it's advertised i.e. Feature or Super Feature.
To remove a vehicle from appearing on Trade Me, just click on the change button next to the Green tick. To put it back on, just click on the change button again next to the red cross.
