Navigating the Feebate Tool
What is the Dealerbase Clean Car Feebate tool?
The Feebate tool allows you to manually override your vehicle listings to enter in the applicable fee, or rebate should this information not be returned from Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.
How do I use it?
You can edit your listing as you always have, however, there are additional fields for you to supply clean car data.
Scenarios where this may apply includes when a vehicle is in transit or on pre order, and is yet to go through compliance.
Start by logging into DealerBase:
- Choose the vehicle you wish to amend and select ‘Edit’.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and opt to ‘Supply clean car data’.
- This will allow you to amend the following fields relating to the fee or rebate that applies to your vehicle, as well as apply a disclaimer if you wish.
- Save the vehicle listing and make sure to jump onto Trade Me and check that everything is displaying correctly.
