Description
UPDATED - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Another fellow trader has kindly advised that we have an imposter hen in this auction. To avoid disappointment from purchaser and maintain relationships with their neighbours. I have adjusted this listing and all bids have been removed.
So we now have 2 Orpington point of lay hens hatched late November last year available. This auction is for both birds.
Beautifully natured and very friendly.
Willing to deliver locally and open to discuss neighbouring districts.
The he/she/they rooster will be listed separately if anyone is interested , bearing in mind that this rooster was from same clutch of eggs as hens. He is yet to crow, possibly identifies as a hen? Haha. Good eating size, approx. 3kg live weight.

I can pick up the chicken? a************8 (35 • 5:24 pm, Sun, 12 May )If you win the auction, certainly. Thank you for your interest :) thebethells (25 • Sunday, 12 May 2024 )Hi There, If the birds pictured are the ones for sale it is a cockerel and 2 pullets, you can tell the cockerel because he has pointy saddle and neck feathers and the pullets are rounded, beautiful birds. Thanks. h**********t (252 • 10:45 pm, Sun, 12 May )Thank you so much for your comment! I had my suspicions but as we filtered out the roosters a week ago whom all looked starkly different and were crowing I thought perhaps it was in fact a hen, haha. I will adjust the auction and update the description. Appreciate your comment, that would have been very disheartening for the potential buyer. thebethells (25 • Sunday, 12 May 2024 )You put it in the car, so you put 10 dollars, 20 dollars at a time, do not let them chase you with you, just watch once, put a car Mala once, they chase with you, but always the same. x****e (5 • 8:29 am, Mon, 13 May )I am so sorry but I don't understand? thebethells (25 • Monday, 13 May 2024 )Hi there, are these girls from your own lines? I am based in Canterbury so there would be a too greater cost involved to get them down here.. but curious to know if these are from your own breeding if you would ever have fertilized eggs available for purchase? s*********1 (2 • 10:58 am, Mon, 13 May )No, sorry. They are not my own lines but eggs came from a heritage breeder in Taukau, South of Auckland. I have never used the Pet Bus or an animal carrier personally and would imagine the cost would be a fortune. Have you checked the Rare Breeds directory online? May find someone in South Island that has birds available :) thebethells (25 • Monday, 13 May 2024 )May I ask if you purchased the eggs from a Port Waikato rd property?. Your birds are of an AMAZING quality, absolutely TOP knotch but I may of purchased the same & don't want to interbreed. Please advise x v***********s (561 • 10:17 pm, Tue, 14 May )No, I can confirm the eggs came from Harrisville Rd in Taukau. They really are beautiful girls and have such lovely temperaments. If I didn't have or want to keep my Australorp line, I would be keeping them :) thebethells (25 • Tuesday, 14 May 2024 )
