This vintage book is number 11in a series of little Hippo Books, showing the Passenger Trains of the World, with detailed information about the train itself and the routes that it operates on. Every train included is illustrated with a black and white photograph alongside the information. A list of the trains included in the book is in the photo of the contents page.

It is in very good condition overall. The pages are in good condition, with no writing, marks, creases, tears or pages missing. However, there is a previous owner’s name written on the first page and some age-related discolouration on the front and back pages, that are in fact blank pages so none of the information is affected. The covers are in good condition with hardly any scuffing and wear, with some small age spots on the front cover. See photos for some idea of the contents and the condition of the book.

This is an amazing little book especially when one considers that it is over 60 years old and has lived in the same smoke-free home for all of its life. A must have for any collector of vintage rail books.
