- Parihaka: The Art of Passive Resistance Te Miringa Hohaia, Gregory O’Brien and Lara Strongman (eds) ISBN: 9780864735201
Parihaka: The Art of Passive Resistance commemorates and explores one of the major historical events in the history of Aotearoa New Zealand – the invasion of Parihaka, Taranaki, by Pakeka soldiers in 1881. It considers the events leading up to the invasion and the immense strength and spirit of the Parihaka community which continues today. Over one hundred and twenty years of art, poetry and waiata were brought together for the exhibition, held at City Gallery Wellington during the summer of 2000 and 2001.

- Te Maunga Taranaki: Views of a Mountain
The mountain known as both Taranaki and Egmont is arguably one of the most consistently represented icons of New Zealand art history. This lavish catalogue, published to mark the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery's 2001 exhibition Te Maunga Taranaki: views of a mountain, investigates the mountain's significance as both a cultural and art historical icon. The catalogue features full-colour plates of some of the most endearing images of Mt. Taranaki
