It would be ideal for an individual or a couple working in the south or west of Christchurch. All you need to bring is your food, clothes and linen.

Fully furnished, self-contained 1-bedroom accommodation in tranquil rural setting 10 mins drive from Tai Tapu, 20 mins from Halswell and Lincoln, 25 mins from south-west Christchurch.

The cottage is fully double-glazed. It has a large living/dining/kitchen area with a private patio and lawn. The living area is supplied with TV and Freeview. Plus Wifi is provided.

Fully-equipped kitchen with crockery, pots and pans, 2-ring hob, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, teapot and coffee plunger.

Lawn-mowing included. Washing machine available by arrangement.

The cottage is attached to a house and the landlord lives next door, but it is private with a separate entrance and carpark right next to the cottage front door.

It is available as a short-term rental from 2 months to 8 months. (It is needed for family visitors later in 2025.)

References and credit checks required. Bond is 4 weeks rent. Rent is $425 (plus $50 electricity and Wifi per week), total $475 paid weekly in advance.
