Collection and Payment:

We accept cash, credit card or eftpos on collection or bank transfer/PING/AFTERPAY payments prior to collection Collections can only be made Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm or Sundays 9am till noon.

Payment Methods:

Payment instructions will be sent to the winning bidder as soon as possible after an auction has closed. If you win an auction over a weekend or public holiday, payment instructions maybe forwarded the same day but most likely on the next working day. Please ensure you quote your auction number/purchase reference number when making payment to enable quicker handling of your item/s. Our bank statement is checked once a day. Payment can be made via Cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card,PING or AFTERPAY. If you do not receive an email from us with payment instructions please check your junk mail. Note due to the charges banks pass onto us all credit card payments made at pick up or over the phone will incur a 3.5% service fee

Shipping Rates:

All shipping prices listed are HOME DELIVERY to main cities. These MAIN TOWNS are outlined in the listings. We can ship using the following scenarios.

1 Direct to home – most expensive due to home delivery surcharge imposed by freight companies. All of them have imposed these. 2 Direct to Business address OR Direct to local depot – no surcharge.

Please note: NO Rural deliveries – we will ship to nearest local freight depot. Rural / Remote customers are recommended to contact our Customer Service Team before making a purchase to discuss local depot delivery on 021528124.

Shipping Time Frames:

North Island: Approx 3 - 6 working days. South Island: Approx 4 - 8 working days.

Inspection on Delivery:

IMPORTANT! - All deliveries require a person present to unpack and inspect the delivery and sign for goods received confirming they are in good condition and free from breakages/damage. It is advisable that you immediately open packages and inspect for signs of damage or defect. If you are not present and the goods are left by the delivery company unsigned and you find damage don’t open the boxes. Contact us immediately to report the issue.

Please do not sign for the goods unless you are happy with the condition of the items in your order in respect of breakages, damages or defects. IF YOU DO AND THEY ARE TRANSIT DAMAGED THEY CANNOT BE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY.

Requesting a Delivery Date:

We cannot guarantee deliveries for a specific date or time. We can request a day from the delivery company (if reasonable notice given). The delivery company will contact you re delivery or you can in turn contact them.

Collection: FREE

Customer pick-ups are welcome from our Auckland depot at Unit 7 / 31 Princes St,Onehunga. Please bring in your purchase order number/reference number for collection.

Returns of non-faulty items require proof of purchase and goods must come back to us in unopened, unused, resaleable condition in original packaging with all manuals and accessories, within 30 days. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If your return qualifies, we'll happily provide you with an exchange or store credit.

If your item is faulty this policy does not apply, instead you will be eligible for remedy under the warranty policy as detailed below.

We encourage feedback on your trade but do ask if there is an issue with your purchase, you contact us first and give us an opportunity to correct any issue rather than placing negative feedback initially. Everything we sell comes with a 12 month parts & labour warranty. Our standard warranty process is as follows. However all warranty claims are treated on a case by case basis and we do our best to resolve issues in an efficient manner.

1 Contact us for warranty authorisation and provide all relevant information. We will either need photos or verification of the issue via e mail. We may also require delivery docket details. 2 For minor defects (repairable) we will send replacement parts. 3 For major defects (not repairable) we will either replace the item or offer store credit/refund.

We will always endeavour to repair or replace faulty goods within their warranty period. If we cannot do this within a reasonable period of time we will offer store credit or a refund. Exception may be made in the case of damage to or misuse of the item. This includes negligent operation, improper assembly, inadequate maintenance, unauthorised repairs and modifications. Limits in cover will apply for businesses. Proof of purchase is required and warranties are not transferable. Freight damage or missing parts must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. All warranty claims must first be approved by a S & M representative.

CONSUMERS

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 ('CGA'), you have guaranteed legal rights for goods you buy. These are called 'consumer guarantees', and include the following:

1 A guarantee that the goods are of acceptable quality, such that the goods are:

• fit for all the purposes for which goods of that type are commonly supplied;
• Free from minor defects;
• Safe
• Durable; and
• Acceptable in appearance and finish 2 A guarantee that the goods are fit for any particular purpose made known by you, or for which we represent that they are or will be fit; 3 A guarantee that the goods correspond with any description with which the goods are supplied; and 4 A guarantee that the goods correspond with any sample or demonstration model where the goods are supplied by reference to such sample or model. If the goods we supply do not meet a consumer guarantee, we will meet our obligations under the CGA to provide a remedy. The CGA does not apply where the goods have been used in a manner, or to an extent which is inconsistent with the manner or extent of use that a reasonable consumer would expect to obtain from the goods; and the goods would have complied with the guarantee of acceptable quality if they had not been used in the manner or to that extent.

BUSINESSES

If you are acquiring goods from S & M for business purposes as defined in sections 2 and 43 of the CGA, you agree that the consumer guarantees provided for in the CGA will not apply to the supply of those goods.

SHIPPING COSTS

Any shipping costs to return the original goods will be at the cost of S & M, where S & M considers the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee. If on examination of goods returned to S & M, the goods are found to not be in breach of any consumer guarantee, S & M may charge you a fee for examining the goods, and any cost to return the goods to you.

REFUNDS

Refunds will normally be processed within 7 working days. Refunds will only be processed to the original payment method used. If you paid by cash at our store any refund will be paid by bank deposit.
