Finger crossed, she'll be ok on the introduction to other rat.

Rehoming our rat girl, as we are not going to continue to keep rats. it's hard decision, our beloved girl is a friend for kids. But she needs other rats which we can't give her. This auction for the right person who is able to introduce young rats to her. She is very friendly and kind, and like to be on the hands. Ginger was two years old in April. Cage was bought new a year ago from Animates, it's in perfect condition, almost as a new cage. The rest of it was bought two years ago, including wheel, which is 32cm. It's large and silent, but has a bit rust on it, probably needs some painting. Please ask questions.

Hi Isla, thanks for the question. Is your boy neutered? Sorry, I don't know about keeping adult male and female together, unless you are going to breed them..I'll search about it on the internet. Sorry for jumping in. You cannot introduce unneutered males and females. They can finish mating within a few seconds. It's highly risky. Your girl is too old to have babies.
