A wonderful Carl Scheidig porcelain figurine depicting a young man pulling a young bull whose horns are just starting to emerge, the energy and motion seeming to portray a youthful contest of strength and determination.Made by Carl Scheidig Porcelain Factory of Grafenthal, Germany, which produced decorative porcelain and figurines from 1906 to 1972. According to Rontgen's book on German marks, the mark on this particular piece appears to have first been used in 1935. This figurine was purchased in the 1950s This figurine stands approx. 6-3/4 inch high, 9 inch long (hoof to ear), and 4 inch wide.In excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs.
