CROWN LYNN CUP & SAUCER - RARE FLORENCE HALF MADE SAUCER.

Florence was one of the last Crown Lynn patterns made in the 1990.

Saucer has the yellow/cream underglaze banding and the stamp on the bottom.

This came from the factory - but it has been sitting around for 34 years.

The items have been in a range of places including outside in crates, They had leaves and dirt on them. They have been scrubbed a little bit and put through the dishwasher. They may still be damp but will dry out

Please see the pictures for marks. These are marks from storage since they came from Crown Lynn many years ago and have been sitting around for years. the marks are probably organic material that should, but I can't guarantee, will fire out if you are going to fire them again

Please note as these have not been glazed they can not be used safely for food until glaze

In 1989 when Crown Lynn closed down I was a ceramic maker & got access to the factory, where I bought quite a lot of their bisque ware from their factory. I was allowed to search through what was left inside and outside the building, I even crawled inside the big tunnel kilns to get some of it

This is high fired bisque ware. That means it is very hard but has only been fired once but has not had the glaze applied and fired on.

Please ask any questions. I do have other pieces I will be listing soon. I have had them for 30 plus years. Some are some odd things like bisqued Fleurette pattern plate and bowl, just bisqued with no painting on it but the Fleurette stamp on the bottom

I imagine there are only a few of these around. There is some Crown Lynn bisque ware in museums and collections but a lot of it was decorated by potters / designers / makers after CL closed
