Secondhand ViMo all terrain powered wheelchair. The new price for the same model is $8490 incl. GST.
Model C320, 18” short wheelbase. Designed and manufactured in New Zealand the ViMo is the only off-road wheelchair that combines light weight, patented flexible chassis for off-road comfort, quick and compact collapsing for storage and the ability to be reconfigured into 3 different types of wheelchair (powered, attendant propelled all-terrain or attendant propelled transit ‘chair). The wheelchair weighs 35kg including the battery but can be quickly and easily dismantled so the heaviest component is only 11kg.
These wheelchairs are capable of climbing a 1 in 4 slope (14 degrees), have 140mm of ground clearance and a top speed of 6kph. The battery is a 24V 10Ah 240Wh Lithium Ion type with a range of up to 16km per charge (depending on the slope and ground conditions) and recharges when going downhill to extend the range. The battery is suitable for carrying on aircraft. ViMos have been to both the USA and Europe.

Hi, these chairs sounds great! Can you tell me how old the chair/battery is? thanks p***t (655 • 10:13 am, Tue, 30 AprHi. This used to be my Mums wheelchair. She loved it and it gave her some independence when she lost her mobility. Mum had it for a year. It does fit through a standard door. However, the user may need some help navigating the door way as it is a tight fit. It looks like the wheelchair would need to be returned to ViMo factory for the new wheel kit to be fitted. This particular wheelchair is built for independent motorised capability.
