'Gems from the Equinox' by Aleister Crowley from his own Magical Order (Selected by Isreal Regardie) First published January 1, 1974 This is the fifth edition published by New Falcon Publications in A handsome hard back book in fantastic condition (pp1134) Purchased by Martin for $65. It's almost perfect condition.

The complete 'Equinox' is rarely available and generally beyond the economic reach of most students. This one-volume collection contains all the important magical writings from the original. It has been edited and arranged by Crowley's secretary, Israel Regardie, so the student can "find his way through the maze more easily." It includes material on Crowley's magical order, magical rituals, yoga, invocations, and sex magick among many other topics. "

Like everything else from this fundraising sale the buyer will receive a note signed by Martin Phillipps (The Chills) saying it was part of his collection.

As well as the book the buyer will also receive a piece of slate(see photo) from the roof of Boleskine House in Scotland which used to be owned by Crowley and later, Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin). Crowley conducted a lot of his famous rituals here and the place is reputedly very haunted. It was almost destroyed by fire and neglect but is now being restored. The piece of roof slate was collected by Paranormal researcher and author, Mark Wallbank.
