As per photos.
Titled " The Old Walnut Tree At Carew", by Well Known Geraldine Based Artist Audrey Durant and Painted in 1964. Signed bottom front right and details on the reverse. Carew is between The Peel Forest and Ashburton in South Canterbury.
Durant has exhibited with the Canterbury Society of Arts, 1967/ 71. Australasian Art Digest lists her sales. Various galleries have her works, plenty of info on the Internet. Files are held in the Auckland Art Gallery and The Hocken Collection.
This is a very well done work with good deep water colours.
Frame Size; 64.5 X 54.5 cm. Work Area Size; 48 X 35 cm.
Appropriately framed.
In very good all round condition.
