An A4 unit is available at $159.00 plus freight. l will do a trademe listing if you require one. Just message me.
NOTE: Rather than use felt in the printing process l suggest you use 1 or 2 layers on 1mm thick butynol rubber to press the paper into the inked engraving. It gives a better finish/result than layers of felt. Butynol black rubber can be purchased by the metre at Mitre10, Bunnings or any DIY supplier. Attached are examples of A4 size MDF print block and the print taken from this block. This press is probably not suitable for acid etched plates or fine definition plates. Etched plates with a very fine definition require a roller press which can apply a large amount of pressure at the point of the rollers.

Questions & Answers (1)
Hi, can I ask which is better and why, between your three different types of press? v*******t (907 • 2:34 pm, Thu, 16 May )The A3 size presses mean they can print twice the size of A4 sheets. The green lever presses are slightly easier and quicker to make prints. Basically the lever press, you ink up your plate, fit it on the base plate, add the the print paper , close the press and press the lever down 3 or 4 times. The screw press you assemble the ink plate with the print paper on top ( plus extra padding) and slide into the press and screw down the press to obtain the required pressure - then open the press lesley69 (342 • Thursday, 16 May 2024 )
