I’m selling my astrophotography setup, the whole lot cost me almost 17000$ to acquire, I’ve had the EQ6R for 4 years, the camera and scope for 2 1/2 and the asi air and electronic focuser for around a year.

The kit includes :

Zwo 294mm : great condition, comes with a cable to operate the cooler, this camera takes wicked photos, I was taking 10 minute exposures at -10 degrees.

Esprit 100ed : good condition, has some yellow residue from where I used tape to jam the scope against the factory dovetail rings (seems really backyard engineering but it eliminated any kind of slippage)

EQ6R mount : good condition, a bit of rust on the bolts but doesn’t stop it from being useable at all, a bit of yellow residue where I used tape to hold the dew shield controller on the unit. It does need some grease removed from one of the axis, the method of which you can find on YouTube, it’s a pretty small and quick procedure. The reason I think this needs to be done is it seems to be some slight slippage when tracking and the locking bolt holds it firm enough but when moving with a large payload like this it sometimes has trouble. It only started a few weeks before I gave up the hobby.

Zwo filter wheel and filters : great condition, houses all 7 zwo brand filters (Luminence, red, blue, green, hydrogen, sulphur, oxygen)

Zwo 120mm guide cam : great condition, bit of discolouring on the red.

Off axis guider : great condition.

Electronic auto focuser : great condition, is a brilliant addition for unattended night runs.

Dew heater and controller : great condition.

Zwo asi air + : honestly for a beginner, or even in the middle bracket, it does wonders for making the process easy, on nights where I was working I could easily get my partner to organise my shoots.

It has been kept outside under a specially made all weather outdoor telescope cover that is included.

Shipping will need to be sorted after sale, it would be best to deliver / pickup as it’s delicate and some of the items no longer have boxes.
