R Crumb's Head Comix

First edition in 1970 published by Ballantyne Books, New York 62 large format Pages plus the Cover. Dimensions: 330x255mm (13x10in)

Has all the stoned mayhem you would expect from Robert Crumb with characters like Fritz the Cat, Mr Natural, Schuman the Human, Whiteman, Fred The Teenage Girl Pigeon and much more. Most of these cartoons have previously appeared in All New Zap Comics, Cavalier, East Village Other, Help!, Yarrowstalks and Underground Review

This comic is complete and in good condition with no marks, creases, tears or any other damage. The black and white strips are all still bright and clean. The cover has some surface and edge wear with some light creasing. The Kitchen Cut Out pages have been lifted out, so are loose but are still there. Overall this is a good copy with light faults and edge wear
