Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia and is bordered by China and India.

Quite a tricky coin, this one. I have not relied solely on Numista but searched many sites for information. None could name the Mint or Mintage, or translate the Legends. However, my friend keripete's Sherpa friend could do the translations, as seen below. This is an interesting and attractive coin.

OBVERSE: Crescent moon and sun flank trident. Legend: Shree pách Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah (King's title) / NEPAL / 2018 (VS)

REVERSE: Numeral with shading. '2' Legend: (abbreviation of king's title) / Two Paisa

Edge: Smooth. Mint: unknown. Mintage: unknown.
