2005 Golden Jubilee Beer Mug "Stein" commemorating 50 years of service by the New Zealand Special Air Service

This very robust glazed earthenware commemorative NZ SAS 50th year Jubilee BEER MUG was produced in New Zealand by Strawberry Hill Pottery of Hawke's Bay

This was a VERY LIMITED edition production run !! (ONLY 250 were produced)

A superb Special Forces collection display item that will greatly appreciate in value due to the small number produced

The Beer MUG measures 4.75" tall (11.8 CM) and holds approx. 1 Pint or 600 mm

The mug is of course now 18 years OLD, but has NEVER BEEN USED or even displayed and is guaranteed to be in perfect "mint" condition

The New Zealand Special Air Service (S.A.S) is considered to be one of the finest SPECIAL FORCES units in the world today.

This elite unit was formed on the 7th of June 1955 and on the 7th June 2005 celebrated their 50th Jubilee.

In it's 50 year history this tiny unit of the New Zealand Army has proudly served it's country around the globe with great distinction, often in a somewhat "clandestine" role and not always with public recognition (as much of their activities are veiled in secrecy) for both achievement of mission objectives and safety of it's members whose identities are jealously guarded under New Zealand law.

This item has never been offered to the general public previously as their items were of a "restricted" nature.

This item has been "cleared for sale" by the New Zealand Special Air Service Association.
