Land Rover Defender 110 1986

UNIQUE 4WD CAMPER based on iconic 110 Landrover. Repowered with "bullet proof" LD28 Nissan diesel. Note this model became the Defender and has coil spring suspension. Five speed transmission with Hi Lo transfer box and central lockable differential giving constant 4WD. A-frame pop top (tested in screaming norwesters) gives full head room and visibility. Single bed, toilet, shower tent, gas heater, gas stove, stow-away sink, table, utensil storage. Lined and insulated cabin. (Minor tidying needed) Enclosed rear "porch". Folding step. Cab was professionally panel beaten and painted to a high standard when I built the camper. Clear coat just starting to show on bonnet, otherwise paint still great. I have not been using it as I did previously and need space for other vehicles. (Had to buy a new battery to go down for the WOF!) Inspection most welcome but by arrangement as I am often away from home.
