Legacy B4 & GTB ECU flash tune (Remap)
Description
Reflashed ECU to suit Revision D BE5 and BH5 Legacy GTB and B4 RSK
Three maps available, one to suit 95 octane, one for BP 98 and one to suit Gull 98 (E10).
The stock ECU tune on these cars is notorious for being dangerous, causing audible detonation ("ping" or knock) even in 100% stock, NZ new vehicles. This tune defuses your time bomb, and gets it going better to boot.
Changes from stock:
- Speed cut increased to 260KPH
- Boost maps are set to max of approx 17psi. Boost "cut" is now 22psi. Boost level may vary between cars.
- Staging of the twin turbo switchover is optimised, to the point where it is nearly impossible to feel any dip at all. The "hang" from changing gear at this point is also removed, it will switch back to single mode within a second of throttle off.
- Fuel and timing maps have been re-mapped for NZ fuel. Cruise and low-mid-range power is vastly increased, and top end power can exceed 200wkw with normal supporting modifications. (Full exhaust, FMIC, intake pipe etc)
- Rev limit is reduced to 7100rpm, above this power falls over.
The tunes are to suit a mildly modified vehicle, however even the 95 octane map on a 100% stock vehicle does show marked improvement in driveability and makes it far safer to drive.
Please note I would still recommend having a power run done on your car afterwards to verify it is safe, I have no way to know the condition of your fuel pump, AFM, etc which can throw things off and no two motors are identical.
This sale is on an exchange basis only, send me your own ECU and I'll reflash it and send it back. This does not lock your ECU and is 100% reversible. If you don't like it, I'll reverse what has been done or make whatever changes you would like made.
It will NOT suit any other model of Legacy, I can only work with the BE5D or BH5D models.
