Description
This old Hilux is needing a bit of tender loving care. I rebuilt a 2LT for it a few years ago, bored oversize 0.5mm, all new bearings, new valves, Chinese turbo fitted, new clutch and certified. After about 3-4000k's the head gasket blew so I got E&S to sort out the head. It had a bit of an oil leak, I think around the turbo feed, so was just being used as a farm vehicle until it conked out one day (electrical issue). It's been sitting for 3 years since so needs to be moved on. The front axle has had a fair bit of work done also, new knuckle seals, wheel bearings. Manual hubs won't engage, maybe a bit too much grease when I reassembled them. The body has had rust removed from the roof on drivers side, bubbling up on passenger side now and the gutters don't look too flash, surprisingly the door frames are reasonably good. You'll struggle to find a straight panel on her.
Anyway, it's time for the old girl to go, as is where is, viewing welcome if I've got time.
