Description

Selling on behalf, boat is located in Stanmore Bay, Auckland.

Sea-Nymph V-146 Gullwing, Yamaha 60HP, Dunbier Trailer package for sale.

This boat and outboard package was being sold with a brand new trailer. We only wanted the new trailer, which we have kept and switched to our existing boat. Therefore, our old trailer is now for sale along with this Sea-Nymph hull and Yamaha outboard, as shown in the images.

The previous owner had it since new, but it has been sitting unused for many years. Please note that we have never used the hull or outboard and can only describe what we see and image:

Hull:

Sea Nymph V146 Gullwing

Storage under seats

Flares

Anchor, warp, and chain.

Stainless rod holders

Steering system works.

Outboard:

Yamaha 60hp Precision Blend

Power trim, tilt, and electric start all working.

Yamaha gauges with Yamaha 703 remotes.

Compressions:

Cylinder 1 = 125psi, Cylinder 2 = 130psi, Cylinder 3 = 130psi.

It starts, sounds good, and goes into gears easily; however, it is NOT pumping water properly (see video), so it will need servicing or repairs.

No hour meter.

See a copy of the receipt from when it was purchased new in 1991.

Here is a video of the outboard running https://youtube.com/shorts/ZudKXIqoA8g?si=ISXk460LGLSFpXJu

Trailer:

Dunbier Galvanised boat trailer.

Submersible LED lights.

It has rust, see images, cross members will need repair or replacement.

Registration until March 2025 – it does NOT have a warrant of fitness.

Genuine $1.00 reserve, must be sold as I don’t have the space to keep two boats. Pick-up and payment within 3-days.

What you see is what you get. This is a project, so please bid accordingly.

Happy to answer any questions.

Please do NOT bid unless you are 100% committed to completing the purchase.

Questions & Answers

  • Would you sell the outboard separately? a******c (699)10:37 pm, Sat, 18 May Hi there, I'd prefer to sell as a package to free up some space in my driveway. Feel free to leave your number and I'll pass it on to the winning bidder for them to decide if they want to sell the outboard separately. Thanks jayboyz87 (360) • Saturday, 18 May 2024
  • Is the floor or transom soft/Rotten? d*********2 (16)12:20 pm, Mon, 20 May Hi there, the floor feels firm when walking on it and we have not noticed any soft spots. The transom does not appear to have any cracks from movement, however the top edge of the transom is exposed (see images) and the boat has been stored outside over the last two weeks. Prior to to this, the boat was stored in a shed. Please let me know if you'd like any additional images. jayboyz87 (360) • Monday, 20 May 2024
  • Please note: 1. The outboard is oil injected - it has on onboard oil reservoir, so you don't need to pre-mix your fuel. 2. The auction includes a good battery. 3. The last WOF inspection noted the left side trailer wheel bearing should be replaced (we towed it two weeks ago without any issues and the wheel spins freely). Seller comment Monday, 20 May 2024
  • is motor 20 in shaft f*******y (191)4:30 pm, Mon, 20 May Hi there, yes the L on the outboard serial number plate denotes 20 inch longshaft. Thanks jayboyz87 (360) • Monday, 20 May 2024
  • Why did you have last question removed about the transom needing repair j******. (222)12:42 pm, Tue, 21 May Hi there, I'd prefer if people refrained from trolling my auction and making comments without any inspection. Trademe supports this. Any inspection is welcome, and I'm happy to provide additional images upon request. This is a project package at stated in the auction. Thanks for your interest. jayboyz87 (360) • Tuesday, 21 May 2024
  • Hi Jon I’m really keen on this one, please could I buy it? I’m in Albany. I can come get it tomorrow or Thursday. Regards l**5 (1)8:55 pm, Tue, 21 May Hi Lea, you're welcome to purchase this, but you'll need to do so through the auction.
