E4 Recruitment are partnered with a leading Aged Care provider in the Hawkes Bay (Hastings) who are looking for a Unit Care Coordinator to join their high performing team.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
- Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate
- Honesty and integrity
- Leadership and empowerment skills
- Current NZ First Aid Certificate
- Experience in providing care to the elderly, or similar relevant experience
- Organisational, time management and problem-solving ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Empathy towards the elderly, good interpersonal and customer service skills
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- The key priorities for the role are to ensure ongoing clinical excellence and a high level of care provided to residents.
- Work with, Empower and motivate your team. Perform care needs assessment, collaborative care planning, evaluation and review
- Assessments (InterRAI) are undertaken, to support best outcomes for the individual resident ensuring that their individual culture, values and beliefs are respected and supported
- Care plans promote the nursing process through consultation with residents, their family/whanau and significant others and relevant allied health professionals.
- Work with and consult with GPs and health professionals, maintain relationships and effective course of action is taken.
- Effective systems of communication are in place to ensure each residents’ care needs and changes are documented and communicated to staff/ family/whanau and significant others

- Great hourly rate depending on experience - range of $48-$51 per hour
