This opportunity requires a New Zealand-experienced Registered Nurse to monitor and coordinate resident care, maintain effective relationships with residents and their families, and ensure proper documentation. The hourly pay ranges based on experience and includes additional pay rates for weekends and night shifts, along with other benefits. Responsibilities
- Monitor responses to treatment and care plans and coordinate resident care. Establish and maintain effective relationships with residents and families and gain their respect and trust.
- Follow the doctor’s medical instructions and interventions, treatments, medications, and therapies and ensure all instructions and procedures are correctly documented, signed and dated.
- Use a multi-disciplinary approach according to accepted nursing practice and standards to lead and direct the team to ensure positive outcomes for the residents, and the facility
- Ensure proper documentation and accurate recording including progress notes and shift handover.
- Understand the aged care environment, and quality management systems to meet the expectations and requirements of residents and families.

Skills & Experience
- We are looking for a Registered Nurse who holds a valid New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
- Previous experience in aged care in New Zealand would be advantageous.
- It would be ideal if you have received InterRai training.
- You should have experience in clinical assessment and observational skills
- You will need to be able to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and their families.
