Description
WHAT WE LOVE:
In 1926, Rolex introduces the Oyster case, ostensibly the first ‘Waterproof’ watch. If Rolex and Omega weren’t close rivals already, the rivalry would only accelerate when Omega released this watch in 1932, the world's first watch for Divers. Plunging their prototype into the chilly waters of Lake Geneva, the Omega CK679 went down 73 Metres.
This model dates to 1939 and functions perfectly following an overhaul, although I can’t recommend taking it diving.
