This is a model of a NZR Y class 5'' gauge, built by the late Ron Harris, a well known model engineer, both here and in Australia.Due to ill health, a relucant sale .Built in 1961.Not Ticketed,but should pass ok,was last in ticket, 2013? with the Tauranga model enginners club. This loco has a working Turbo Generator for the lights, and a working scale Westinghouse air pump for the brakes, and a self lapping brake valve to Dad`s own design.
