Description
RALSTOY made toys from the 1930s in the town of RALSTON NEBRASKA, mainly slush cast but during the war turned to making wooden toys. After the war they bought out 2 other toy companies-BEST TOY Co and KANSAS TOY Company. These companies also made slush cast toys and soldiers. In the 1970s they started producing promotional trucks like this Furniture moving van. Based on 70s FORD WT 9000 with MAYFLOWER WORLD WIDE MOVING Livery. MAYFLOWER was a franchise and this truck was operated by BOYD TRANSFER & STORAGE Minneapolis-St Paul. T/T Measures 22 cm long. Tractor unit has 2 mounting points and can be shortened to 21 cm. I believe in the real world Trailers were allowed to be longer on West Coast of U.S.A. Toy is pretty good condition for 50 yrs old. Clear lacquer over decals has yellowed.
