Vintage Sleepy Eye Doll.(1950s?) 48cm tall with soft body and hard lashes. There is no manufacturers marking or name. Body is soft plastic/rubber and it articulates (moves) at the shoulders and legs. Soft hair, with minimal hair loss at the front. Its lashes are hard plastic indicative of 1950s or early 1960s. Doll is in good condition. Eyes close when lying down. It has a voice box with a reed which once upon a time would have made a crying sound when it was lying down, but no longer functioning.
