Yes, registered to me with my details but it will be easy to change registration details to you. I just used it as a range finder but I only used it once. There is a mobile phone app (I didn't connect) that links to device and provides maps for holes/courses and 'wireless course updates, digital scorecard with statistics & course maps with shot and layup planning'.
