This is an ancient vintage wooden headed driver with a cross-hatched face and a brass sole. The brass sole is engraved with the brand "AKURATE." The shaft is steel, painted to resemble bamboo. The pure leather grip is in excellent condition and shows little sign of use. The wicking at the base of the shaft that covers the join between the shaft and the wooden head is also in good condition. This vintage club is ready for use or further restoration with lacquer or french polish. Suitable for collector or a golfer who prefers to play in "plus fours".
