3/4 Thoroughbred 1/4 Clydesdale Dam - TB - Maisey (a Handsome Ransom mare) Sire - TB/Clydes - Lord Oden out of Vain Az (sister to Ready Teddy, Brilliant Invader line) and sired by Ashburton Brave Hart (Registered Clydesdale Stallion)

Archie is athletic, brave, smart, eager, and ready to start his career. He’s a real character, super smoochy, playful, inquisitive, and loves to learn. Archie is exactly where I was hoping he would be at this age and point in his training, however, due to my personal circumstances/moving overseas, he is looking for a new home. I am heartbroken to be listing him; a genuine, honest 5* home is essential and he is priced reasonably to be sure he goes to a wonderful home.

I have had him since he was 2yrs old and he has had lots of exposure prior to breaking in. He’s been under saddle since Nov 2023. He carries himself with a lot of pride, impressive flowing movement, thrives with positive encouragement/reinforcement, loves to put on a show and have all eyes on him to perform. Archie loves the beach/water/waves/forrest/farmland, happy to be in the lead/in the middle/or last, as well as confident out alone. Unbothered on the road around cars/busses/bikes, great to float and truck alone or in company. No soundness issues.

He has his ‘young horse’ moments when he can be a bit pushy on the ground or stubborn, so please, no novice enquiries. Archie is ready for whatever you choose to do together and put his work ethic and pedigree to use. He will no doubt excel in the future and will work hard for his next person.

Please note he is on Waiheke Island; ferry travel required. ***Possibility to bring him to Auckland on Saturday 11th May. Tack/covers/other gear potentially available due to moving overseas.
