A wonderfully keen black labrador in the outdoors features in this striking display plate. From a painting by Dave Broadhurst. One of the "Dogs in Action" plate series from Royal Doulton, produced in 1997, plate code PN171. The plate has a nice glossy glaze, enhancing the splashing water and the dog's shiny coat. In good clean condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. The gilded rim is pristine. A couple of minor glaze irregularities on the dog's back leg blend into the overall colour palette. Display on a shelf or pop a plate disc on the reverse for hanging on the wall. 21cm across.
